Internet Marketing Tips – Are You Willing to Invest in Yourself?

A recent development over at the Warrior Forum prompted me to write this article. It has come to my attention that there are people out there who are simply not willing to invest in their business. They want to market on a shoestring budget or no budget at all and take every free road to success that they can. Well, if that’s you (and I’m sure you have all your excuses) then you probably don’t want to read this article as it’s only going to tick you off. But maybe you should.

As for the excuses, I’ve heard them all…including “I’m broke. I have no money for food, rent or anything.” Yeah, I know. Been there, done that. When I started online I was on the verge of being homeless. It doesn’t wash with me. If you want something bad enough, you’ll find a way to get it. Think about the money you ARE spending and what you’re spending it on. There has to be something in there that you can use towards investing in yourself.

I mentioned up top about a recent Warrior Forum development. Turns out that members now have to pay a small $ 37 fee to now have all the rights that they had as free members, with the addition of becoming a War Room member. Many jumped at the chance. Then there were those who came up with more excuses than you can possibly imagine. But the one that struck me the most was the people who complained about restricted access because it was hurting their business that they were doing there.

Let me get this straight. You’re doing business at the forum, successful doing it, and yet you won’t invest $ 37 to be able to keep DOING that business? I have absolutely no words for this sort of entitlement mentality other than “I don’t get it.” If I had a business bringing me in $ 10,000 a month and somebody told me that in order to keep bringing in that $ 10,000 a month GUARANTEED all I had to do was pay a nominal fee of $ 100 a month, I’d ask how much I could pay to bring in $ 20,000.

I don’t get it. I’m sorry, I just don’t. I invest in my business every chance I get. If there is something I can buy or invest in that will increase my return, I do it. I don’t even question it. My biggest complaint is that there aren’t enough things out there that I can do. And yet, there are people that go for free hosting, free autoresponder and free everything else because they’re too cheap to invest in their business.

Ask any successful marketer what they earn and how much they invest each month to earn that amount.

I guarantee you that the figure is a lot higher than zero.

To YOUR Success,
